  Feasibility Studies and Detailed Engineering for 4 laning and Strengthening of NH-2, Section Raniganj to Panagarh in West Bengal; under ADB Loan Assistance Programme Package III
The 42 kilometer stretch included two ROB’s, 2 major and 5 minor bridges as well as rehabilitation of five bridges. The project cost is Rs. 160 crores and was undertaken by MRC in collaboration with EMA (Engineering Management Associates).
Consultancy Service for Preparation of Detailed Project Report for Improvement of Radial Roads Around Chennai : Widening an Strengthening from Existing 2 Lane to 4 Lane of Chennai - Mahabalipuram Road (Km 13/3 to Km 55/46).
The 42 kilometer of this stretch included two major and seven minor bridges. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 60 crores. The period of consultancy was from May 1998 to February 1999.		  
  Feasibility Study and Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Rehabilitation and Upgrading to 4-/6- Lane devided Carriageway Configuaration of Chandikhole-Jharpokharia Section of NH-5 i.e. Km 61-280 of NH-5 and Km 210-215 of NH-6 and Balasore to Kharagpur Section (110 Kms) of NH-60 in Orissa/West Bengal Package VII.
Total Feasibility Studies for 334 Kms and DPR for 278 Kms was done under this consultancy service. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1300 crores. The period of commencement is from January 1999 to October 2000.
The Consultancy service was rendered by MRC as joint venture partner with Sheladia Associates Inc and PBI (USA) for NHAI Govt of India. M/s Sheladia was the lead Consultant.
Consultancy Services for Techno Economic Feasibility Study for Development of NH-57 Section Darbhanga - Jhanjharpur (43 Km).
This Consultancy included Traffic Survey Analysis & Projection, Soil and Material Survey, Preliminary Design of Highway Geometrics, Pavement, Culverts, Bridges and Cost Estimate and submission of Draft Feasibility Report. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 104 crores. 		 

Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study and Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Rehabilitation and Upgrading to 4-/6- Lane divided Carriageway Configuration of NH-5 Section Vishakhapatnam (0/0) to Ichapuram (Km 233/0) in Andhra Pradesh under NHAI Package V.
This consultancy included topographical and Engineering Surveys, Traffic Surveys and Analysis, Cost Estimate, Economic Evaluation and Financial Analysis and design of Intersections. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1000 crores. The period of commencement was from February 2000 to July 2001. The consultancy service has been provided by MRC as a joint venture partner of M/s Sheladia Associates (USA) and PBI of USA. M/s Sheladia was the lead Consultant.

Construction Supervision Consultancy NHAI Package No GQ / GM(E) / SC / OR-1 : 4 laning and Strengthening of the existing two lane stretches of NH-5 in Orissa for three Civil Contract Packages OR-1, OR-II & OR-III (Total Length –165 Kms).
MRC has been engaged as Sub-consultant with M/s Sheladia Associates Inc. USA for Construction Supervision. Major thrust areas of services are Construction Supervision Contract management and Quality Control of strengthening widening and improvement of geometrics and pavement of existing NH-5 including rehabilitation of existing structures and construction of new bridges and structures. The period of consultancy is 3 years w.e.f. February 2001.

In this stretch of NH-2, Design and Detailed Engineering Services provided for 2 major Bridges, 5 minor Bridges and 2 ROBs.

Bridges on NH-5 Section Chandikhol – Kharagpur in Orissa/West Bengal.
Preparation of Design and Detailed Engineering of 23 Major Bridges totalling 4611 metres and 8 Flyovers and 4 ROBs, for 4 Laning of NH-5 Section; under NHAI Design Package-VII; as joint venture partner of M/s Sheladia Associates Inc, USA.

Preparation of Design and Detailed Engineering of 10 Major Bridges totaling 2269 metres, 5 Flyovers and 4 ROBs, for 4 laning of NH-5 Section; under NHAI Design Package-V; as joint venture partner of M/s Sheladia Associates Inc. USA.

Proof Consultancy for Checking of Structural Design & Working Drawings for Reconstruction of 2 Lane 146 m long Steel Bridge over Solding Khad of NH-22 in Himachal Pradesh comprising 100 m long main span (arch) with 10 m end span at Shimla end and 3 additional spans of 10 m each plus one shore span of 6 m at Pooh end. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.5 crores.
